Factors that influence your per-page rate
Every job is quoted on its own merits. The following variables are weighed together to produce a fair, transparent rate for the specific record in front of us:
- Standard versus expedited or daily rush turnaround
- High numbers of expert witnesses or complex colloquy
- Dense technical, scientific, or medical terminology
- Audio quality, background noise, and speaker overlap
- Rough-draft, readability, or full-verbatim requirements
- Volume and consistency of ongoing, recurring work

File Transmission Protocols
Files are exchanged through secure, mutually agreed channels. Native CAT files (.sgngl / .ptx and equivalents) along with corresponding audio are transmitted using encrypted transfer or your firm’s preferred secure portal — never over unprotected email attachments.
Preferred Audio & Dictionaries
Synchronized audio in standard formats (WAV, MP3, or your CAT’s embedded audio) yields the most accurate result. Sharing your personal and job dictionaries up front lets me match your briefs, conflicts, and preferences from the first page forward.
Communication Expectations
Clear, responsive communication is standard throughout every project. During real-time or daily rushes, I remain reachable for status updates, flagged questions, and time-referenced verifications so nothing stalls against your deadline.
Confidentiality & Ethics
